Novena formed in 2018 as an alt-country duo comprised of Emma Lee Woodruff on vocals and rhythm guitar and Jennifer Taylor
on bass. Since then, the act has grown to include Eric Henry on lead guitar, Charlie Worth on keys, and David Randall on drums.
The group takes inspiration from all genres while drawing most strongly from folk, blues, country, and rock and roll.
